| Uses | Frusemide is used to treat the excessive accumulation of fluid and/or swelling (oedema) of the body caused by heart failure, cirrhosis, chronic kidney failure, and nephrotic syndrome. It is sometimes used alone or in conjunction with medication to treat hypertension. |
